Nellie Mae Taylor (b. 1896?) may have attended the University of California, founded and directed a Spiritualist church at 1245 W. Watkins Rd in Phoenix. The church was a member of the National Colored Spiritualist Association of Churches. Once a year she had a ten-day intensive series of classes on metaphysics and spiritualism
